Weekly Update

Just a few updates for the week ahead:

  • Thanks for your patience as we complete the project on #16. As you know, the construction area has been roped off, and ground-under-repair signs have been placed. If you hit your ball to the right of the ropes, please don't try to retrieve it. It's a muddy mess! Anything hit in this area, during the final stage of this course project, is considered ground under repair. You get a free drop in the designated relief area - no penalty. As for the project's completion, the ground is still too wet for the necessary equipment to finish the job, so we're at a pause point right now. Our goal for completion is early June.
  • The back bunker work on Eagle #6 is finished, and there is an area roped off that has been recently seeded. The front bunker work will resume in the next two weeks, to be completed before the Cherry Blossom, our opening tournament of the season (May 3,4).
  • Jack's Shack will open on Saturday, May 3rd. During these early weeks of the season, please load up on beverages and food items at the clubhouse before your round. A Schafer's attendant is here each day, at least 30 minutes before the first tee time.
  • The restrooms at Jack's Shack are up and running, but the bathrooms on the Osprey Nine and #12 on the Bear Nine are not operational until the irrigation is turned on, which will be in the next few weeks, certainly by the end of the month. Please use the restrooms at the Shack, and there is a portable toilet on the Osprey for the time being.
  • Right now, the Lounge opens at 2PM, but Schafer's will begin its daily lunch service on Tuesday, April 29th.

Have a great day!
