Golf Course Superintendent

Both Eagle Bend Golf Club and Big Mountain Golf Club are maintained by Shane Bigelow as the acting Superintendent for the courses. Shane manages seperate maintenance crews for each course based on the same high standards of course quality.

Shane Bigelow

Born and raised in Great Falls, MT, Shane graduated from Montana State University Horticulture Science in 1996. During his high school years, Shane was a part of the maintenance crew at Meadowlark Country Club. While attending college at MSU, Shane worked and interned with Meadowlark Country Club, and with Valley View Golf Club. After graduation, he was the assistant superintendent of the Powder Horn Golf Club. During the summer of 1998, he began working for Eagle Bend Golf Club as assistant superintendent. At the close of the 2000 golf season, Shane became the superintendent with Eagle Bend’s sister golf course, Big Mountain. In September of 2010, Shane also assumed the role of Superintendent/Head of Agronomy for both Eagle Bend and Big Mountain golf clubs. As a sixth generation Montanan, Shane enjoys boating in the Flathead, golfing, skiing, and while enjoying all that Montana has to offer.
